My First Day at School

 

What important days in your life do you remember? I remember my first day of school very clearly. When I was tired of being homeschooled, I decided to join a school named “Al-Hussan-International-Schooling” It was famous because of its high academic performance and well-trained teachers. I felt excited and happy, but at the same time, I was very scared and nervous because I didn’t know anyone however, it was the most memorable day of my life.

 

At first, when I stepped into the school, I was confused and lost. I felt like my heart was going to bust out of my chest. I asked for some help from my supervisor who was Mr. Hamada, he was a polite and gentle person who led me to my new class named 5P. The teacher Mr. Hassan Ahmed asked me to introduce myself to the class. After that, I noticed that the classroom was very big, but I could not find a single seat for me. So, the teacher asked me to take a chair and sit at the back of the class.  During the break period, everyone asked me “Where are you from”, and what I like. After answering questions, I asked everyone’s introduction. Afterward, I started to play with them. Finally, I made a friend with a boy named Mahad Mubashir, I also made friends with Ehaab, Hasaan Mazhar and Haithem Saed. Together they showed me around the school and told me things that I should know.

 

I am always going to remember that day because I had an opportunity to meet many people. Most importantly, I met the best friends I have ever had. Finally, I think that it is natural that on the first day of school, we feel nervous, but often difficult experiences have happy endings. That’s why I say that my first day in school was very memorable.
