The Magician’s Wand

Did you ever wish for a magician’s wand? Well in this story by Furqan. You will read about an 8-year-old boy named Jack, who once had a wish to be a wizard and own a magic wand.

 

Once upon a time, on a cold Christmas morning, Jack was thinking something about his friend Rocky. Rocky loved to perform magic tricks, which made Jack inspired. He saw Rocky pull out his pet cockatiel out of nowhere, Rocky had even guessed Jack’s dream. He thought he was a wizard! Jack's dream was to be a wizard (which Rocky had guessed) and make the world a better place, on the other hand, Rocky wanted to conquer the world and crown himself king if he was a wizard. In school history class the teacher was talking about our ancient ancestors. Everyone’s homework was to make a family tree up to their ancestors.

 

Jack went home and checked his ancestors, what he was made him have ants in his pants the whole day. At school in history class, Jack was as still as a stick his hand raised up high. “Jack, come up here and explain your family tree please” “I am related to a wizard, in fact, I am a wizard” Everyone cracked up loud especially Rocky. “You see, our family was constantly in danger somebody by the name of Jack invented a wizard potion made of the only 4 things left on earth, so they can turn into wizards and protect themself from attacks, the magic is passed down to their children. We can only use it when we are angry or in danger.” Bill, Jack’s bully started to laugh like a hyena. He threw a sharp pencil at him. At the same time, Jack thought he was in danger and used his magic to stop the pencil and turn it to hit Bill's eye. OUCH! Bill started to cry like a baby and ran away from the class. Everyone shivered the person sitting next to Jack sat in Bill’s seat. School ended and Jack begged Bill to forgive him. “Fine, but only if you swear not to do it again,” said Bill. “I swear” sweared Jack. They became friends. He told everyone that he will make the world better. He did his best till next Christmas. He unwrapped his present and behold... a wizard’s wand was in front of his own eyes!  (Wait how did How did Santa know?) With his power, he did many things like ending world hunger or making 3,578 people see and hear for the first time. He was a very famous wizard in all of history. He hoped his generation could do the same.
